Chatting yoga for busy people with Ryan Reynolds. No big deal :)
yes, I did take this
I found this old picture of me and I can remember thinly at the time I’m big. Its a reminder to my self how twisted we let our minds get.
I took up archery again. Last time I did this I was 16 I’m now 48 and apparently I needed to learn the hard way how to hold the bow properly.
…where they grew up fascinate me.
I can’t even imagine. Prolly because I’ve got some (ok, quite a bit) of gypsy in me.
I’ve been in CT for 3 years and I’m getting antsy to move on. I can’t even imagine being my age and having never left where I was raised.
Don’t know where that thought came from. I think because a high school classmate that I’m friends with on FB owns a restaurant in the town we grew up in.
Mind. Fucking. Boggling.
This will blow your mind then Net bro….I live 5 min from where I grew up, and from where my aunts and uncles and grandparents lived on my dad’s side and 15min from where my mom’s parents lived and my uncle and his family. not the same town but right over the line. AND…I live in the same house as my sister and her family, my family lives in the inlaw apartment. Where family people…
For those of you who are still putting more emphasis on the number on the SCALE and not your overall progress: STOP.
I often get requests for exercises that tone, but from people who don’t want to gain muscle. It doesn’t work that way. Toning IS gaining muscle. But gaining muscle does not mean gaining size. Many women have an unnatural fear of the word gain so the marketing world uses words like toning, tightening, flattening, slimming, shave inches etc. ALL of these words mean gaining muscle & losing fat.
Muscle is more dense than fat: pound for pound it takes up less room. You can lose fat & inches without the scale moving. You can get the body you want without losing weight.
The purpose of this photo is to visually demonstrate why the scale doesn’t matter if you’re training hard & SEEING results. If you feel like your balloon gets busted each and every time you step on the scale, you NEED to change the way you think/feel about it or give it up all together. The scale can be a valuable tool to check in on your progress when you’ve got loads of weight to lose, but beyond that it doesn’t tell the whole story and should not be your ultimate goal.
In other words, at the end of the day, the numbers do NOT matter. Decide whether or not you want the body (yay) OR the number (boo). The two don’t always coincide.
The scale and I are in a battle right now where Im doing things the way I should and it isn’t moving…This was a good post to find this morning…Thank You!

I have been in Shoe HELL!!!! Tis the season to change things up. I lost count of how many squats Ive done three days ago. My legs feel like rubber bands my arms hurt and why the hell do my boobs hurt…Every muscle in my body is yelling at me right now…”What the F*ck are you doing to us!” I feel like a walking zombie…To say the least I haven’t had any time to take pictures to finish out my month strong however I have a few days coming up so I can regroup.
16 hours Shoes free and then it starts all over again until Monday @5pm then I have 2 days off. If I didn’t have to leave the house I’d go barefoot till I had to go back to work.
